Description
The correct Aqidah (creed) forms the very foundation of Islam and the cornerstone of the Muslim community. According to the clear guidance from the Qur’an and Sunnah, a person's actions and words are only valid and accepted by Allah when they stem from a sound Aqidah. If the Aqidah is flawed, then the resulting deeds and statements are invalid.
The Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah succinctly outline the core of correct Aqidah, which consists of belief in six essential elements: Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and Divine Predestination—both its good and its bad. These six principles constitute the fundamental creed revealed by Allah and taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
