Rules of Tajwid (Madinah Script)

Description

Rules of Tajwīd is the sequel to the Safar Qāʿidah and forms part of the comprehensive Safar Learn to Read Series. Structured across seven progressive levels, it builds upon the 13 levels of the Safar Qāʿidah, with each stage focusing on a specific aspect of learning. It may be taught alongside Safar Juz ʿAmma or as students begin their journey of Qurʾān recitation.

Through this book, learners will gradually master the application of tajwīd by reading selected passages of the Qurʾān to their teacher. Developed from years of experience teaching tajwīd at Safar Academy, it equips students with the skills needed to achieve proficiency in Qurʾān recitation.

The script is taken directly from the Madīnah Muṣḥaf, widely used across the world. It has not been colour-coded with tajwīd rules, ensuring that students learn to read standard black-and-white Qurʾāns without relying on visual aids.

To further support progress, the book incorporates a unique marking system, a diary, and a checklist—tools designed to track achievement and strengthen communication between students, teachers, and parents.
