Drawing on a practical understanding of phonology, we have developed a colour-coded system to help readers recite the Holy Qur’an accurately and confidently.
Each colour highlights a specific Tajweed rule, allowing readers to recognise and apply proper pronunciation effortlessly.
The letters are classified into four colour categories:

Red: Letters that require expanded vocalisation.

Green: Letters that are nasalised during recitation.

Dark Blue: Used for the emphatic letter “R” (Ra).

Light Blue: Indicates unrest or echoing letters (Qalqalah).

Grey: Marks letters that are written but not pronounced.
Through this visual system, readers quickly become familiar with the rules of Tajweed. The use of colour engages the eye, helping to apply 24 Tajweed principles naturally — making recitation smoother, more accurate, and allowing the mind to remain focused on understanding the meaning of the Qur’an.
