6 Books Set- A Thinking Person's Guide to Islam, Love, Reality, Happy Life...
1. A Thinking Person's Guide to the Truly Happy Life What is happiness? What is not happiness? How can one lead a truly happy life? What are the differences between happiness, joy, gladness, contentment and pleasure? In this concise and easy-to-read book, noted philosopher and Islamic scholar, Prince Ghazi of Jordan, reviews the classical philosophical and religious answers to these questions and then shows Islam's perspective on the issue based on the Qur'an and saying of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW.) The answer is a surprising one to which everyone can relate. 2. A Thinking Person's Guide to Our Reality Starting from the human condition as experienced today, this books aims to summarize the spiritual life in Sunni Islam starting from seven verses of the Qur'an and three hadiths. 3. A Thinking Person's Guide to Love In this book, over 30 years in the making, the author surveys and sums up the world's understanding of love in all its aspects over the last 3000 years in order to show the stages of love and of falling in love and why, how, when and where they occur. 4. A Thinking Person's Guide to Islam The world is at a crossroads today. A tiny minority of Muslims seems to be bent on hijacking the religion of Islam and bringing it into perpetual conflict with the rest of the world. Because of their actions, very few non-Muslims understand the real difference between Islam as it has always been, and the distorted perversions of Islam today. This book is an attempt to positively say what Islam actually is—and always was—as well as what it is not. 5. A Thinking Person's Guide to Our Times This book examines ‘our times’ from an Islamic philosophical world view, looking at the problems facing the Islamic World in the near past, present and future respectively in three mutually complementary parts. At the end of each part, it suggests holistic and easily applied remedies to the problems it examines. In other words (and for those who enjoy sonorous German and Greek philosophical terms) it examines the Zeitgeist from the Weltanschauung of Islam and suggests panaceas. 6. A Tentative Guide to Islamic Invocations This is a personal selection of invocations, all of which claim to be from the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) or from his immediate Companions. In other words, everything in this collection is a transmitted (ma’thur) invocation. Apart from a single narration (which is traceable to the Tabi‘ al-Tabi‘in Imam Sufyan al-Thawri [97–161 ah/716–778 ce] and who arguably would not have related it without a now-lost chain of transmission to the Prophet (SAW)), there are no non-transmitted invocations here from any of the great figures of Islamic history and spirituality after the Companions of the Prophet (SAW).

A COLLECTION OF SUFI RULES OF CONDUCT
A Collection of Sufi Rules of Conduct (Jawāmiʿ Ādāb al-Ṣūfiyya), authored by one of the earliest masters of Sufism, is regarded as the first work dedicated to outlining the way of life and practices of the Sufis. It represents an early effort to demonstrate the harmony of Sufi beliefs and etiquette with the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. This pioneering text is not only a landmark in the study of ethics and spirituality but also a concise record of Sufi thought up to the eleventh century. Its influence shaped the development of Sufism from that time onward. A Commentary on the Creed of Al-Imam Al-Tahawi
Creed is the basis of religion. It is the substance of the first pillar of Islam, the testimony that there is no [deity worthy of worship except] Allah and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. Therefore much focus has to be given to it. It has to be learned, and so does that which infringes it, so that man becomes discerning and upon the correct belief. Because if someone’s faith is based on a correct foundation, it is valued and accepted by Allah; but if it is based on shaky and precarious beliefs, or on incorrect beliefs, then it is not correct and has no foundation. This is why the scholars gave such precedence to creed and why they never slackened in teaching it during their lessons and on special occasions. And the later generations related it from the earlier ones. As time passed, the sects and disagreements appeared, and Islam was accepted by those in whose hearts the creed was not firmly grounded, or by those who entered into the religion whilst having deviant ideas, and some new Muslims did not refer to the Quran and Sunnah for matters of creed, instead referring to theories and methodologies that the people of error founded on their own accord. The rise of these occurrences created the need for the Muslim imams to teach and revise the correct creed as well as write it and narrate it from the learned ones of the Ummah. Therefore, they wrote literature on creed and were very much concerned with it. This literature became a reference point for the Muslims who would come later, right until the coming of the Hour. Among these imams who wrote about the creed of the Salaf was al-Imam Abu Ja’far Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Tahawi, who was a scholar from the third century in Egypt. He wrote this creed according to the views of Ahl al-Sunnah in general, which includes al-Imam Abu Hanifah al-Nu’man in Thabit al-Koofi – who was the earliest of the four imams and met the Tabi’un and related from them – as well as his two disciples: Abu Yüsuf and Muhammad al-Shaybani and the imams of the Hanafi school of jurisprudence. .

A Commentary on the Poem Al-Bayquniyyah
A commentary on the famous poem in the field of hadith sciences entitled al-Manzumah al-Bayquniyyah by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen (rahimullah). The Merits of the Poem of al-Bayqūnī: Shihāb al-Dīn al-Dimyāthī said, “The poem of the knowledgeable imām of understanding and perception, al-Shaykh al-Bayqūnī (rahimullah) is one of the most interesting summaries of the science of hadīth and the most eloquent of the writings upon which one takes the rigorous course upon, for it is comprised of clear yet fine expressions that overwhelms its counterparts with a grim face.” The importance of this subject: The knowledge of usūl al-hadīth is a science that serves the radiant Prophetic traditions; with it one can distinguish the Prophetic narrations in terms of authenticity and fabrication, soundness and weakness. Al-Imām ‘Abdullāh ibn al-Mubārak said, “The quality of the hadīth is not in the conciseness of the isnād, rather its quality lies in the soundness of its narrators." Al-Imām Yahyā ibn Sa`īd al-Qattān said, “Do not look at the hadīth but rather look at its chain. If the chain is sound [then the narration is sound]. If not, then do not be deceived by the narration with a chain that is not sound.” Al-Hāfiz ibn Qutaybah al-Daynūrī said, “There is no nation amongst the nations with the isnād like their chains (i.e. this nation); narrator from narrator, the trustworthy from the trustworthy in such a way until it reaches the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) and his Companions, so that the sound can be differentiated from the weak, the connected from the disconnected and the fabricated from the genuine.”

A Commentary On Zad Al-Mustaqni -Volume 1
This is a translation of volume 1 of Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan's excellent commentary on the classical guide to the Hanbali madhab entitled Zad al-Mustaqni'. It covers the Book of Purification. Shaykh Bakr Abu Zayd said in al-Madkhal al-Mufassal, Zād al-Mustaqnī’ fī Ikhtisār al-Muqni’ is the text that came to be considered as the main source for the study of the Hanbalī madhab (school of jurisprudence) and quintessential for the students in the land of the Hanābilah (i.e. the Arabian Peninsula); particularly in the region of Najd. The people busied themselves reading, memorising and writing commentaries upon this book. This was carried out in study circles in the masājid where the scholars imparted knowledge to others and also in formal learning institutions. This book was studied in-depth so much so that some scholars provided explanations just upon the phrases within it so as to make it easy for the new learner. This was expanded to include proofs and evidences for those in the intermediate level. In the levels thereafter, proofs and evidences were fused with the disputes that exist within the madhab and in comparison to the other madhabs. Some scholars said: The texts of Zād and Bulūgh, Suffice for one to attain genius. They indicated through this [the importance of] Zād al-Mustaqni’ with regards to the study of fiqh and Bulūgh al-Marām with regards to the study of hadīth. No book as exemplary has been authored since it that contains as many important points (muhimāt) and issues (masā’il) as Zād. In fact, Zād excelled in terms of quantity and content. It is said that there are approximately three thousand important points and issues mentioned and similarly another three thousand inferred from the text. Meaning that it possesses within it around six thousand issues. This is what we heard from some of the noble scholars of the madhab in our time. While [in the current time] the students of knowledge transmit from some of the contemporary scholars that the number of issues in Zād goes beyond thirty thousand. Thus one should not avoid it.
